Scintillo String Quartet Professional String Quartet based in East Anglia & covering Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex. The Suffolk-based Scintillo String Quartet has gained an enviable reputation for providing professional live music of the highest standard for a wide variety of engagements including weddings, corporate events and concerts in venues throughout Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk, & Cambridgeshire and are increasingly in demand across East Anglia.

Working as freelance musicians, between them the members of the quartet boast a wealth of musical experience, including performing with the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields, the Iceni Ensemble, English Serenata, live performances on BBC Radio 4, at St John's Smith's Square, Covent Garden, The Comedy Store in Leicester Square, at the 2012 Olympics and recently featuring on SKY TLC when they performed for the wedding of Alex and Olivia Bowen Buckland.

The Scintillo String Quartet offers an extensive repertoire which encompasses over 350 years of musical styles, from Classical favourites to contemporary pop songs and incorporating everything inbetween!
Our extensive repertoire reflects almost twenty years experience in providing music for a wide variety of events and allows us to create any musical ambience.
We particularly enjoy sourcing, arranging and playing new repertoire, and keep up to date with the industry trends by always adding new music from the charts, TV and films.

The Scintillo String Quartet performs extensively at all of the major venues throughout Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and London.
Queries for engagements outside of these areas are welcomed but may be subject to travel expenses.
We are an acoustic ensemble and as such do not require any power points or audio equipment.
All we ask is that we have four sturdy armless chairs, and reasonable space in which to play (roughly 4m x 3m, although we are able to fit in to slightly smaller spaces).
