Nothing is posed - everything will be taken completely naturally & unposed. You will barely notice me or the camera on your day, capturing your day as it happens. Nothing is set-up. Trust me to take photography all the real moments (wonderful AND weird ones) & then simply enjoy your wedding day. Only a wedding photograph captured as it happens - a real moment, taken without direction, will have true meaning for you many years from now.

Look back at your Manchester wedding day (or any other location) & remember your guests, the stories and everything that actually happened. Not only did we get the most stunning wedding photos, our guests & ourselves were free to enjoy the best day of our lives. An internationally acclaimed wedding photographer from Manchester, creating unique imagery in David's signature unposed style.

A proud member & multi-award winner of Fearless Photographers. Also featured in many 'Top UK Photographer' and 'Best Wedding Photographer' listings. David has countless articles featured & photographs from Manchester weddings, and from across the globe.

Opposite is a rare photo of me.
I understand what it is like to have camera in your face.
But photography is important, so I have developed a style of wedding photography that allows you to enjoy every second of your day, without being bothered by your photographer.
I'm a fully trained Ninja, professional trampolinest, international cricketer, sketch/drawing master, world rally driver, Mt Everest explorer, Red Bull sponsored downhill mountain biker and the world record holder for the most Haribo StarMix you can eat in a minute.
I was completely bowled over that I won not one, but two award winning photos with Photographers Keeping It Real.
This is a really special wedding photography group for only real moment photography, which is exactly what I am about.
No posed shots allowed, and that is how I think it should be.

The image above was taken at a wedding on the Wirral.
Utilising the cameras screen, the camera was actually on the floor by the brides foot, and taken as she was laughing with friends.
Not a problem!
As long as you are no more than a 30 minute drive from one another, I can photograph both bride and groom preparations as you would have seen in all my featured weddings and blog posts.
Every wedding is different but spend maybe 30 mins with the groom and groomsmen, the rest of the time with the bride, but also I like to be at the ceremony location 30 minutes before the wedding ceremony so I can be around to get more of the groom and guests arriving.
Not every couples wants family group photos, but most do.
