As a consequence of the pandemic, a number of weddings needed to be rescheduled. Consequently, we need to close our gardens and caf to the public on certain days in order to fulfil our obligations to these couples. Please see our Events section below for dates we are closed. Abbeywood is a 45 Acre Estate nestling in the Delamere Countryside, right in the Heart of Cheshire and Home to the Rowlinson Family since 1987.
The venue provides a highly versatile space for weddings both indoors and out. Our gardens offer a simply stunning backdrop to your day. With wonderful areas to entertain or relax in, your wedding photography will be amazing. Just wanted to thank you all for allowing us to enjoy our special day at your stunning venue. The Orangery is the perfect all weather setting for welcome drinks and canapes (or may be an intimate wedding breakfast) The Orangery is also licensed for civil ceremonies, with a capacity of 70 guests.
Connected to the Garden Caf this area enjoys views over our Exotic Garden.
It can be used for your wedding breakfast with a capacity of 80 guests, or an evening party space, complete with well stocked bar.
This room is also licensed for civil ceremonies with a capacity of 85 guests.
The Orangery is the perfect all weather setting for welcome drinks and canapes (or may be an intimate wedding breakfast) The Orangery is also licensed for civil ceremonies, with a capacity of 70 guests.
Connected to the Garden Caf this area enjoys views over our Exotic Garden.

Access to this part of our gardens is via the Garden Cafe, up a central path surrounded by naturalistic style planting.
Narcissus, Tulips, Alliums and Camassia begin the season, followed by perennials, including Nepeta, Hemerocallis 'Corky', Sedum 'Purple Emperor' Knautia macedonica and Veronicastrum, interspersed with Miscanthus sinensis 'Silberspinne'.
The North facing border is filled with Hosta, Astilbe, Heuchera and Tricyrtis.
Adjacent to the Cafe, our Tropical Garden was established in 2011.
