Rachel Savine is a Professional Make-up Artist and has been running her own business since 1996, she is highly qualified with over 30 years professional experience in the Make-up and Beauty Industry. Originally, I trained at Birmingham College in Beauty Therapy and over the years I have received training from leading celebrity Make-up Artists in the art of professional fashion & Photographic Make-up.
My experience includes Beauty Salon employment, working for photographic make over companies, photographic fashion shoots in studios and on location, fashion shows, bridal make-up and make-up for models. I have experience in theatrical Make-up and special effects and have also worked for Christian Dior. I have a natural flair for art and spend much of my free time often painting landscapes, flowers and animals in watercolours, pastels and acrylics.

In late 2015 I decided to put myself forward and enter The Wedding Industry Awards, which is a prestigious National Competition for the Wedding Industry that recognises and rewards excellence in the wedding Industry.
The categories ranged from Best Florist, Dressmaker, venue to photographer and wedding band etc.
The category I entered was for Best Wedding Make-up Artist in my area, the West Midlands.
I was excited to enter but nervous too, I do pride myself on being the Best at what I do, but I had no expectation on Winning, I just thought it would be a great experience to take part for myself as well as my business.

This was and is a breathtaking location for our collaboration of Winter Wedding themed looks.
For the Ice Queen look I created Lottie's make-up using a palette of white, ivory, silver, ice blue and navy blue with added silver diamante and glitter.
I also sprayed white body paint to my models chest and dotted it around her eyes for a nod to tiny flakes of snow.
Then I glued fake snow to her face and hair to compliment the wonderful hairstyling and really beautiful statement bridal headpiece.
Ice blue and ice pink highlights were added to the cheeks and false lashes were added for a wing effect on her eyes.
