Blackstock Country Estate is a beautiful countryside wedding and events venue set in the rolling South Downs of Sussex. Located within a 45 minute drive of Brighton, Blackstock is an easy to reach country escape.
We host ceremonies, receptions and events in two cosy barns, surrounded by 70 acres of breathtaking estate. Rustic and rural, yet refined and romantic, we are surrounded by open meadows and peaceful lakes. Wild deer can be spotted on the grounds, among other wildlife roaming freely. All this can be viewed from our two restored barns, one of which dates back to the 16th century.
We are licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies for up to 120 guests, or can recommend some nearby historic churches. For receptions, conferences and parties we have licensed bars, the capacity for live music and can provide top-quality bespoke catering.

If you're coming to us via Hellingly Village, ignore the left turn into Mill Lane (it's a very narrow road) and follow Station Road until you reach Park Road.
Turn left in to Park Road (which then becomes Grove Hill after approximately 850 yards) and you will find Blackstock Country Estate approximately 1 mile along on the left hand side.

The Granary is a converted traditional barn, capable of seating up to 120 guests for your wedding breakfast.
The barn boasts a wealth of rustic features, including a sandstone floor and exposed beam vaulted ceiling.
It also has large antique cartwheel chandeliers providing romantic ambient lighting, and floor to ceiling glazed barn windows which open out to the landscaped courtyard.
From the courtyard guests have access to the picturesque countryside and can enjoy spectacular views.
A large mezzanine floor overlooks the main barn, ideal for use as a relaxed seating area, entertainment such as a photo booth or for great photo shots!
