There has been a house on this site for hundreds of years but Glenarch was built as it stands today in circa 1820.
The house was extended during the Victorian era to provide servants quarters, a farmhouse kitchen and the stables and coach house.
The latter were converted by the previous owners around 2003 to create several bedrooms which now house our 5 guest rooms.
The grounds sit on the south Bank of the North Esk.

Our bed and breakfast is a beautiful Georgian Farmhouse in Eskbank, near Dalkeith and set within 4 acres of tranquil tree lined gardens on the banks of the river North Esk.

Our leafy and private mature garden is a beautiful place to unwind whether that's sitting in our listed summerhouse, watching deer, pheasants and other wildlife or just enjoying a walk by the riverbank it has something for everyone.

We pride ourselves on quality and want our guests to have a the very best night's sleep.
As such our five rooms are furnished with luxurious pocket sprung mattresses and down and feather pillows and duvets.

It is furnished with solid wood furniture and a king sized bed making this an extremely comfortable and spacious room.
