Thank you for looking at my website. I am TaraLee Johnston, although most people call me Tara. I am an experienced, award winning hairdresser, qualifying over 20 years ago. I have specialised in bridal hair for the last 15 years. Based in Essex, I have helped hundreds of brides over the years to create their perfect wedding hair. I travel far and wide so please do enquire if you are outside the Essex area.
I have trained on numerous hair courses to keep up to date with the latest trends. I am absolutely thrilled and extremely proud to have won a Highly Commended Award for the East of England in The Wedding Industry Awards for 2020 (which I have my 2019 brides to thank for because part of the award is based on their votes). My work is to the highest standard and I pride myself on being a perfectionist.
I am super-organised and very patient. I will help you choose a hairstyle to flatter your face shape, hair type and to compliment your dress. I will also offer advice on the right accessories and placement of veil.

Included in this is a consultation in which we will talk through a number of different styles and then try out a few favourites to find which one best suits.
This can take between 2-3 hours in the comfort of your own home.
Detailed notes are taken as well as photo's so I can replicate the same style.
I will take into account timings of your make-up and photographer to ensure everything is timed perfectly.
A non-refundable booking fee of 40 will secure your date in Tara's diary, This Payment comes off your trial amount.
This can take between 2-3 hours in the comfort of your own home.

I allow up to 3 hours for the trial.
This gives us plenty of time to try around two styles possibly a third.
I take plenty of photos of your chosen style with notes too, so this can be created again.
