Yoda Cake came from my desire to attempt a sculpture and was so much fun to do! He stood 2ft high and it only seemed right to have him photographed in a setting that suited him. This particular guy was made from vanilla and strawberry cake, and to gain the height, the structure inside was carefully planned. The inner cake was sculpted to represent his basic shape, while greater detail was achieved with the combination of moulding the icing into shape together with the use of modelling tools.
There is also a picture of him with a planet ball cake that was made to keep him a little company and to provide more portions of cake. I am normally glad to hand over the finished cake, but I found this one difficult to say goodbye to!
