Welcome to The One Who Bakes, a company dedicated to creating beautiful bespoke wedding and celebration cakes serving Leyland and the surrounding areas (including Chorley, Preston, Blackburn, Manchester, Liverpool and Blackpool).
Our cakes are baked in our home bakery in Leyland using fresh ingredients and are prepared just for you, giving you a unique cake for your special occasion.

I can not thank and praise Lisa enough for the cake she made for my son's Baptism.

We use high quality sugarpaste over delicious chocolate ganache to make sure your cake is perfect.
We pride ourselves on our crisp lines and high uality finishes.
That's because your wedding cake is important to us!
After an initial consultation - either via telephone or the internet - we will select some flavours for you to taste.
We will then come to your home (or arrange an alternative convenient venue) with some tasting cakes and fillings, where we can have a more in depth chat and look at some different size/decor/price options.

All of our wedding cake orders are bespoke and created to each customer's design, taking inspiration from your personalities, interests, wedding colours, theme and even your wedding dress/attire!
This will be the best cake you ever buy so we take time to make sure the design and flavour are perfect for you.
We can only provide you with an accurate quote for your cake once all the details are agreed, which is usually during our Wedding Consultation and Tasting Session.
We do understand, however, that couples need to be able to factor in the expense of the wedding cake, so to help you budget we have created a rough guide of the starting prices for our cakes.
