I am a wedding harpist based in Burgh-le-Marsh near Skegness Lincolnshire. I play at venues throughout the county but I will also consider playing in other nearby counties such as Norfolk. Being an accomplished wedding harpist I feel the sound of the harp creates atmosphere, and what better for that special day? My wide ranging repertoire gained over several years experience as an harpist, ranges from light classical music to easy listening - Elgar to Elton John.
As well as being a wedding harpist, I also play the harp for dinners, corporate events, retirement parties, funerals in fact any occasion that be would be complemented with the unique sound of the harp. I sincerely believe that the wedding harpist should blend into the background and not detract from the importance of the bride on her memorable day, allowing the music to provide the ambience to a very special occasion.
I have a bachelor of music degree from the University of Oxford where I was a tutor and dean of Harris Manchester College.
My work as a harpist has included orchestral playing, session work and backing tracks for numerous rock/pop bands and solo artistes in recording studios.
I have worked as an organist, pianist and musical director in schools, colleges and theatres through out the UK.
