
Stephanie was taught to cook by her Cordon Bleu trained mother Liz who started Wedding & Event catering in the 1960's and was looking for a venture that she could run from home while her children were young. Stephanie loved nothing more than sitting on a kitchen stool from the age of three watching her mother cook and from there her passion for cooking started.
Liz believed in starting Stephanie from the bottom and working her way up in the company so Stephanie joined Liz's dedicated team of waiting staff to learn all about front of house. After learning the hard work of front of house, Stephanie then took her place in the kitchen alongside Liz, learning everything about not just the practical side of cooking but the theoretical side as well.
Everything Stephanie cooked had to be perfect and pass Liz's high expectations, if it didn't, she had to make it again until it was perfect. Stephanie sat in on all client meetings with Liz to learn about talking to the client and bringing an event together.
