I'm a wedding photographer in Peterborough providing a professional wedding photography service throughout Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire in the UK. My relaxed, documentary approach is best described as natural wedding photography - the art of capturing the TRUE story of a wedding day. This means no awkward posing, no staging and minimal formal photographs such as group shots.
Below is a short photofilm of a recent wedding that will give you an insight into my wedding photography style. Rather than the term 'wedding photographer', a more accurate descriptive term is 'visual storyteller'. I tell the true story of a wedding day using photographs. My wedding photography style has several different labels, the most common being 'documentary', the others being: natural, candid and reportage.
In other words: minimum group photographs, no awkward posing, no staging and no looking at the camera. I will simply be observing your day in order to expertly and artistically capture meaningful images.

I genuinely believe that the best and most enjoyable way to enjoy photographs is in the printed form.
It always makes me very sad when I know that the vast majority of wedding or family photographs are destined to spend eternity stored on a USB or hard drive, quite often to never see the light of day again once they have been viewed.
I don't for one minute think that this is ever their intention, but sadly, with the fast paced lives most of us now lead, printing photographs whether for framing, hanging on the wall or creating albums just doesn't tend to get done.

Natural wedding photography; often referred to as 'documentary wedding photography' is the art of telling the true story of a wedding day by capturing images that portray genuine moments and real emotions.
Each photograph or a collection of photographs should tell a story that requires no commentary.
A natural wedding photographer will observe the day, listening and waiting for significant and meaningful moments to present themselves that will be worthy of making a contribution towards the story of your wedding day.
