Although Anne-Mie, the proprietor is a third generation cake baker, tracing her roots to her grandfather who baked for the forces during the war, she only took up her passion for sugarcraft and creating wonderful wedding cakes following a career in corporate sales. When she was little Anne-Mie used to watch her father, a Belgian patisserie baker, create family favourites, the most individual tempting cakes and cream gateaux.
Our aim is to bake and create your dream cake, whether it is a classic and elegant, romantic wedding cake, a birthday cake with a difference, or just a 'bit of what you fancy melt in the mouth cupcake'. Custom designed while maintaining a friendly approach, we hope to create a heavenly delicious cake for all you cake-lovers out there. Much love and a hint of Belgium flavour go into each cake that leaves the Time 4 Cakes' kitchens.
A logo ladybird on all our cakes stands for quality and taste. The old recipes use only wholesome ingredients, local produce such as free-range eggs, butter, NOT margarine, natural colours whenever possible, Belgian chocolate, the most exquisite decorations and of course marzipan!

Having a small dinner party with a few friends at home, Anne-Mie Brock was not having a good day, when her friend said: 'Why don't you sell cakes, these taste delicious'.
That was in 2009 and Time 4 Cakes was born.
Anne-Mie has a successful corporate career behind her, which started in her native Antwerp in Belgium where she started out as a secretary in an American offshore company.
She later transferred to their UK branch in Gt Yarmouth.
For 13 years she worked in a global transport company as assistant to the MD, where she built up a network of friends, some of whom after 25 years are still very much her special friends, and much later joined a printing company, where she would build up skills as a corporate sales manager and a health & safety manager.
That was in 2009 and Time 4 Cakes was born.

If dressing the cake with fresh flowers to coordinate with your wedding bouquet and/or flowers at the church/venue, we would be happy to recommend our preferred florist, but can recommend a professional wedding florist also.
