Built in the 1890's by Frederick De Courcey Hamilton to placate his homesick wife, the manor was initially a gorgeous wooden lodge and an instant local. After burning down in the late 1980's, the then-owners rebuilt the lodge, faithfully recreating elements as it was adapted to the historic family home that stands today. In 2010, it was passed to the current owners and now serves to welcome all who would come stay with us.
