Because you have exclusive privacy at Chaucer Barn you will have had up to 24 hours in which to relax with your house guests, sink your roots and take 'ownership' of the Barn.

When your guests arrive you are inviting them into your space - unlike the typical wedding venue where you arrive (and leave!) at the same time as your guests so that it is the venue essentially plays host.

Most of our guests choose to marry in a natural setting, either in our gardens or in the woods.
Chaucer Barn features a stone circle near the woods which is a beautiful setting for a ceremony.
There are also three tree circles you can use.
Stone circles hark back to ancient pre-Christian celebration of nature.
Whilst not being for everyone, many find this space at the end of our oak avenue a deeply spiritual environment.
Buried beneath each of the eight stones is a crystal (four Merlinite crystals and four Muldovite crystals).
