The Spring Quartet was formed in 1995 when the family was approached by someone wanting string quartet music at their wedding.
Our success led directly to an engagement to play at the Sponsors' Dinner of the World Transplant Games at which Dr Christian Barnard, the Heart Transplant pioneer, led a standing ovation for the Quartet during the first course of the meal!.
Since then we have played for many weddings and corporate functions including Manchester's World Track Cycling Championships at the then new Velodrome.
