Bath and North East Somerset Council operate and manage the Roman Baths & Pump Room, Assembly Rooms, Guildhall and Victoria Art Gallery, with the venue hire operation branded Bath's Historic Venues. The buildings are delightful and unusual settings for weddings, parties, conferences and receptions. Located at the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage site, and of special architectural and historic interest, our venues are certainly unique.
But as well as being Bath landmarks, they are warm and welcoming centres of entertainment and hospitality, offering the capacity for the most modern of events. But it is not just the buildings that make events at Bath's Historic Venues so special. Our events team offer a friendly and personalised service for our clients from initial enquiry, to event execution.
We work closely and share offices with our contracted caterers Searcys, who cater for all our events at the Roman Baths, Pump Room and Assembly Rooms to ensure events are seamlessly managed. With the exception of our caterers, clients are free to choose their own suppliers, and as long as it doesn't interfere with the historic fabric of the buildings, clients may theme the venues as they wish.
