Hello my name is Lynn and welcome to The Cake Lady's website.
Cake making was not what I had in mind for my future career but something I found I was good at while working in a boarding school for children with special needs.
The look on a child's face when you give them something made especially for them makes everything worth it.
While working at the school I met and married a local dairy farmer.
We now have three grown up daughters.
It was after making my eldest daughter's first birthday cake that I was asked to make one for someone else and it just grew from there.
