Whether you would prefer to call my style of photography documentary, reportage or even wedding photojournalism, it all amounts to the same thing - natural, uninterrupted moments to remember your special day as it happened.For me it is so important that your story is told through your wedding photographs, and that the day remains as uninterrupted as possible.
My aim as a documentary wedding photographer is to record a collection of photographs which will sit alongside your memories of the day, taking you back to it every time you look at them. You will barely know I'm there, which means you can enjoy the day fully. My work quite often takes me further afield meaning I have been fortunate enough to photograph weddings in places such as Kent, Somerset, Yorkshire and Italy to name a few.

Every collection I offer includes all of the edited high resolution jpeg photographs in both colour and Black & White which are all available to download directly from your private client gallery.

I put my heart and soul into each wedding that I am a part of and I absolutely love what I do, I really could not think of doing anything else.
I use two Sony A9 cameras which are completely silent when I need them to be.
Working in churches and during the reception drinks completely silently means I can get photographs that some other photographers cannot.
I also have a vast array of back up cameras and lenses if I need to use them.
Unfortunately I can't hold a particular date without having received the 300 non-refundable booking fee and a signed contract.

An Engagement photo shoot (or pre wedding photo shoot) is the perfect way to celebrate such a special time in your life, a time that can pass by so quickly as the planning of the wedding takes over.

we've now had an engagement shoot and our Wedding with Martin and he was sensational. From the time we booked he couldn't have been more helpful with tips and advice. When the engagement shoot came he was amazing, he's such a naturally friendly and engaging person that he made it wonderful (when we aren't naturals at getting pictures taken).
At that stage we were blown away and thought it couldn't get better.
On our wedding day he took it to another level.
His photos are sensational, he captures everything and it's like a fairytale, I've never seen any that come close.
What really sets him apart though is the moments with him where he knows just what to say to calm down a nervous groom waiting for the ceremony, where he makes us laugh and feels like a family member come to visit. His infinite patience for the disorganised rabble of our friends and his ability to find us moments to spend together, private moments in the middle of the chaos of the day where we could just enjoy each others company.
I know my wedding photos will be amazing. Thanks in no small part to Martin my wedding was amazing though. His presence made the day even more special, magical and memorable and I truly can't thank him enough

Both our original 2020 date (which was then postponed) and new 2021 date were planned solely around Martin’s availability. The moment we saw his work we knew that he had to be the one to capture our special day. We went along to a Wedding Fair at our venue and waited for over an hour to speak to him as we could not bear to go home without knowing he would be there!
Martin’s photos really do speak for themselves. Every time we contacted him we got a quick response and he could not have been more helpful when we postponed the wedding.
You could not meet a nicer person. Martin made us and all our guests feel immediately at ease and was so friendly and professional with a great sense of humour. I think we will both be sad not to see Martin anymore, so may have to book in a dog photography session!
