Yarner House Weddings
Approached by a wooded drive of nearly a mile long, this superb Scandinavian style manor house offers an extraordinary, luxurious experience. This magnificent property was built in the 16th century originally as a Tudor hunting lodge. At Yarner you can open your window, or step out onto Dartmoor's only private 180' panoramic view of the Wray Valley.

We are delighted to share this wonder and offer exceptional bed and breakfast accommodation, exclusive weddings and events in this idyllic historic setting in the heart of Devon. The Yarner estate extends to just below the summit of Haytor, a beautiful granite Tor once visited by Queen Victoria and still enjoyed by many. Stone used in the building of London Bridge was quarried on these moors, although today the silence is only broken by the calls of soaring buzzards.

The extensive grounds offer a range of glorious walks, through forest, through farmland, down our tree arched drive and up onto moorland. But if you'd rather take a more relaxed approach you can stroll around the stunning gardens where we have a beautiful pond with a romantic bamboo plantation, a budding fruit tree orchard and an impressive African hut.
