Based in Scotland, I shoot weddings all over the UK and internationally aiming to record your wedding day as it happens, without directing or influencing the events, and most importantly without getting in your way.
For me it's all about the real stuff, about you having the time of your lives and sharing it with your friends and family. The thing is, the photos are about the day, not the other way around. Couple photoshoot is a great way to overcome that fear but even more importantly, it's a chance to get some amazing photos of the two of you together.
You don't have to be getting married soon, as a matter of fact you don't have to be getting married at all (or at least not planning it at the moment).
Think of it as a perfect excuse to spend a day out with your partner, go explore, have some fun, and possibly step out of your comfort zone a little bit.
We just go for a wander and let things happen.

Lukas was professional, friendly and the photographs came out far better than we could have expected! Cannot recommend him enough!
We eloped and after our witnesses did not show up, Lukas even stepped up to be one of our witnesses, just above and beyond all day!
Lukas was extremely responsive before and after to ensure we were on the same page and really listened to what we wanted from the photos.

We really cannot thank or recommend Lukas at Catching The Moments highly enough. We were very lucky to have been recommended Lukas as our wedding photographer by a friend, but honestly the quality and beauty of his work surpassed all of our expectations. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he goes out of his way to capture every moment and every feeling throughout the day. We had a wonderful engagement shoot with him in Glencoe prior to the wedding, and we were absolutely blown away by the photographs from that day and so were very excited to see what our wedding photos would be like. On the wedding day itself, Lukas was a perfect gentlemen. He is so unobtrusive and unassuming, yet manages to somehow capture every look and every emotion of the day perfectly. We really think you would struggle to find a better documentary photographer anywhere. Our wedding photos are absolutely beautiful and he has captured the day from the first few strokes of the make-up brush getting ready in the bridal suite, to the final fireworks and cheers at the end of the night exquisitely. We will treasure these photographs for the rest of our lives and thanks to Lukas and his exceptional work, we can relive the memories and emotions of the day through his photos.
