We launched our first venue in 2011 and now have a growing portfolio - from elegant country houses with estate gardens to idyllic countryside for marquee weddings and a vineyard.
Bellissimo Wedding Planners have been working with us here at Lulworth for many years and provide wonderful attention to detail, styling, planning and on the day assistance.

Bellissimo helped us in the final month leading up to our wedding to ensure that all of our suppliers were sorted and help us set up the venue and take hold of our wedding day. I don’t know how we would have done it without them!
The pressure was relieved from us, knowing that there was someone to be the point of contact and organise everyone on the day meaning all we had to do was turn up on time! Mel was amazing, she was here, there and everywhere in the final week, helping with whatever we needed and keeping everything running smoothly on the day.
Our wedding day was one of the wettest days of the year and being a planned outdoor ceremony meant everything had to change to inside our marquee last minute. Mel ensured that everyone was in the right place at the right time and briefed everyone who needed to know the changes so that the guests thought that was how we had planned it!
I wish we had used Bellissimo for more of our planning! Would recommend them to anyone currently planning their special day. We hope to use their sister companies for events in the future!

I am indebted to Mel and her team, they gave me my dream wedding this summer. Having rolled the date twice before (due to small children tiring us out), I had thought it might not be achievable. I certainly didn’t know much about wedding planners, until a friend mentioned Bellissimo. Honestly, from the moment I met Mel, I was full of positivity.
It honestly was a joy to get married, even the hard work at crucial points was overseen and managed by the unflappable Melanie. I had the partial package and I felt the amount of hard work and dedication from the team was definitely worth the investment. The whole team are professional, experienced and immaculate. I had no idea the venue existed either (English Oak Vineyard), and it’s 10mins from me. Thank you again guys for giving me my perfect English country wedding with my festoon lighting

It really was a pleasure to work with you Mel and Bellissimo weddings. We were so impressed that you were there, on hand from the start in the morning to the end - guiding the wedding and the guests and leading the vendors. You did it with a quiet, easy going authority backed by knowledge and lots of experience. There was a real ease and calmness and you were so kind in the way you went about it. It made the day feel smooth and easy. It is so good for people to have a point person to go to, to work with to make the day go as well as possible. Often it’s a member of the bridal party but having you there, as an experienced point person worked so well. With often over 100 people, all trying to stick to a tightly timed schedule, it seems crazy not to have one and with you, the bridal party can be released to just enjoy the day.
From our angle as photographers, you are lovely to work with and it also felt so brilliant to be looked out for - seen, fed and watered through out the day (and the food was DELICIOUS). Nothing was ever too much and you never seemed hassled. You always had time. Thank you! You are lovely Mel and we would book you without hesitation.
We think couples are safe with you - in your capability, capacity, your thoroughness, your beautiful styling and your eye for detail too.

Melanie was absolutely fantastic. We had the one month and on the day package and it was incredible how Melanie took the stress off of us and helped us truly relax in the lead up to our wedding. Jack and I were able to enjoy our wedding day and not worry about a thing. Melanie was just incredible and we are both so grateful for deciding to have a wedding planner!
