Nathan has been photographing weddings professionally since 1999. His approach to weddings is to have fun and relax couples not only to document the subtle moments as they pass but to give you some of those WOW portraits too. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and for a Dorset wedding photographer, it is more than true. As your big day approaches, everything seems to become more and more filled with emotions.
Once the buildup reaches its peak you are probably dressed in white waiting for the day to begin and hoping for the best. You made sure that you dot your I's and cross your t's. You have been preparing and now there is nothing more you could do, except to rely on your photographer's experience! Imagine an emotional moment filled with tears of joy between a bride and her father.

I Married my wife, Amalie, in 2010 and it was one of the best days of my life, up there with the birth of my girls.
The three of them mean the world to me and when i'm taking portraits or capturing a marriage I always photograph them as if it was my own.

I remember the first time I picked up my mums Kodak Instamatic camera and put a film through it in the 70's (I was young) and my first experience with the wonder of the darkroom process.

The next level, FRPS, has names like David Attenborough so I'm happy at my level.for the moment.
It is always helpful to make a list of any groups you may want, however, keep these to a minimum as they take up precious time!
There is no limit to the number of photos taken on a wedding day as I'll just keep shooting as the day unfolds but, you can expect more than 500 UNIQUE images.
